Treatments during pregnancy
During a moment as special as pregnancy, the care of the mother-to-be and the baby's well-being are our top priority. At Beldon Beauty, we offer beauty treatments suitable for pregnant women, providing a safe and expert approach to enhancing your well-being during this unique stage. We understand the specific needs of expectant mothers and adjust our treatments accordingly.
In our menu of protocols, we feature a facial treatment and a body massage, both specifically designed for pregnant women. The facial treatment is intended to adapt to the skin's changes during pregnancy, providing hydration and specific care for each individual case. On the other hand, the body massage focuses on relieving tension and improving circulation, as well as fluid retention, offering a moment of deep relaxation. Both protocols are accompanied by personalized advice on home care routines designed for pregnant women. Furthermore, we have considered your comfort with cushions made specifically to allow you to enjoy comfortable and relaxing massages, even while lying face down. Trust us to provide you with specialized guidelines that address your individual needs while we take care of you and your baby on this shared health journey.
When can I start treatments?
It is recommended to wait until the first 12 weeks of pregnancy before starting any treatment.
What treatments can't I have?
During pregnancy, it's important to avoid acids, except for hyaluronic acid. Additionally, vitamin C should not be used in concentrations higher than 7%, nor should essential oils, with the exception of lavender, tea tree, or rosehip. It's also advisable to avoid certain active ingredients, which we will inform you about.
What products should I use?
During pregnancy, it is recommended to use moisturizing and nourishing products. The use of sunscreen is especially important, as melanin production tends to increase.
What are the possible changes in my body during pregnancy?
In general, many women experience improvements in their skin, nails, and hair due to hormones. However, symptoms such as temporary acne, dark spots due to increased melanin, fat accumulation to nourish the baby during breastfeeding, fluid retention, and increased sensitivity may occur.
Until when can I undergo treatments?
It is possible to undergo treatments up to the day of delivery, but it is advisable not to take unnecessary risks and preferably avoid treatments too close to the delivery date.
